This is the first-ever CD reissue of this album, originally released in 1972 and the first of his albums on Columbia. This is a very good album, although it should be mentioned that unlike his second release, Tales of the Exonerated Flea, this is more of a jazz album than a jazz/rock album. It's got a great cast: Horacee Arnold-drums, Joe Farrell-flutes, soprano sax, Ralph Towner-12-string guitar, Billy Harper-tenor sax, David Friedman-mallet percussion, George Mraz-bass and Ralph MacDonald-Latin percussion.
