Sebastian Hardie - Blueprint CD

SKU SH 001
The return of this classic symphonic rock band from Australia; certainly Australia's finest contribution to the genre. Over 35 years since their last one, Sebastian Hardie deliver the goods here: this is a very strong, classic-style progressive rock release that has elements of their two classic albums here and there, but that doesn't sound *just* like them, which gives them breathing room to create something new and fresh and - in all probability - something that is a lot better than it would be if they were just trying to recreate their old sound. Group leader and vocalist Mario Millo still has a great sound and the rest of the band: Toivo Pilt (keyboards), Alex Plavsic (drums) and Peter Plavsic (bass) also play with imagination and drive. I imagine that this one will definitely be one of the very best symphonic rock releases this year!

"After going their separate ways in the late '70's Sebastian Hardie reformed in 1994 and performed a one off concert in Los Angeles at Progfest '94. In March 2003 sebastian Hardie again reformed for a performance at The Metro Theatre, Sydney followed by a concert tour of Japan. Returning home to Australia, enthused and inspired, the band decided to record their third studio album."
