There is no shortage of great music out there. The situation for musicians gets worse and worse; less CDs can be sold, less places to play, less money to the musicians and yet...the music perseveres! This is hammered home to me this week by this great French, mostly instrumental electric jazz quintet of guitar, saxes, trombone, bass and drums, with guest appearances on alto sax, tenor and soprano sax, keyboards and vocals. This is interesting, creative, jazz with electric flourishes and it is as good as anything out there. Take a moment and listen to the myspace samples and give this a chance! Highly recommended.
