Interestingly enough, this release is a soundtrack to a documentary. There are 4 long-ish tracks (short by their standards, but still) and a bunch of very short tracks. But it still sounds like them!

"Artistic director Chris Zelov was in the audience of our Gatherings show of 2007 in Philadelphia, PA and as a result of what he heard, commissioned the band to provide soundtrack music. Preparatory writing was undertaken & these ideas were worked up alongside several improvisations atthe recording sessions. We wrote to a series of specific scene lengths and briefs, with the idea that the music's presence would underscore the narative. These pieces were then re-edited as the documentary entered its final cut. This album is a selection of music from the finished film, placed in this order for a coherent listening experience."
