Stormy Six were the Italian members of the original R.I.O. movement. Their sound was quite informed by folk music & the political singer songwriter school, so their sound is quite different form what is thought of as R.I.O. This album was made after they had become members of the 'R.I.O. movement', and it is probably their most overtly 'complex music' album. The band has also expanded to include cellist Georgie Born (fresh from her stint with Henry Cow) and saxist/clarinetist Leonardo Schiavone (from Maxophone) and was recorded by Etienne Conod at Sunrise Studios in Switzerland. Really nice mini-lp sleeve reissue with two booklet of lyrics (including a history/appreciation in Italian and English) and some rare photos.
