First and for me the best of this short-lived Irish band's two albums (but then again, this is the one I grew up with, so I would think that. YMMV). This came out in 1970 and was recorded in 11 hours, as detailed in the small but very informative booklet that comes with this nice set and which includes a bunch of photos I never saw before! A weirdo progressive blues band, which was the first professional gig for the then 17 year old guitarist Gary Moore + bassist/vocalist Brush Shields and drummer Noel Bridgeman. Their albums are indeed basically blues-rock....basically, but then they will fly off on oddball and odd metered tangents that seem to arise out of nowhere. Pretty great and definitely the weirdest white boy blues band ever. Conditionally highly recommended.
