I've always had a real soft spot for this band and their two albums, which came out in 1970 (Skid) and 1971 (34 Hours). A weirdo progressive blues band, which was the first professional gig for the then 17 year old guitarist Gary Moore + bassist/vocalist Brush Shields and drummer Noel Bridgeman, all hailing from Ireland. Their albums are indeed basically blues-rock....basically, but then they will fly off on oddball and odd metered tangents that seem to arise out of nowhere. Pretty great and definitely the weirdest white boy blues band ever.
