Geigner, Brian - Metamorphosis Lab CD

SKU BG 001
Floaty, spacey electronic music reminiscent of the Berlin school from the 70s.

“We go back into the years of the 70’s with Brian Geigner’s – Metamorphosis Lab. Warm analog sounds, slow floating Sequences and swirls of sound effects brings a feeling of nostalgia.
His music is to be enjoyed in the quiet hours of the day!”

"Been following the evolution of synth and prog music since the early 70’s, especially the bands who relied heavily on keyboards and synthesizers. These bands and music influenced me so much that I switched from playing bass guitar to keyboards.
Played in few bands that were liked minded but never mounted to anything.
In the 80’s the DIY home cassette phase happened and I bought my 1st multi track machine and recorded 2 cassette releases. ( funny enough I saw one of those tapes go for $250.00 on ebay) I was commissioned to write and perform a soundtrack for the 1922 film Nosferatu, which I performed live for a few years on Halloween weekend.
Got married we have a large house and fufilled my dream of setting up a recording studio (5 Cats Studio) in the basement, it takes up the entire basement in our house.
Began composing material for what I hoped would end up being released on CD; my studio consists of analog synths and digital synths, my latest addition is the Mellotron M4000D rack module."
