"This is a great album. FM were often compared to their Canadian brethren Rush, and that was both fair and unfair. Like Rush, FM were a power trio that walked the line between progressive rock and pop tendencies. Unlike Rush, FM had no guitar player (usually substituting electic mandolin and/or violin!)and had more reliance on synths and keyboards/piano. And Cameron Hawkins has a lower vocal range and is a more melodic and less screechy vocalist than Geddy Lee. I love Geddy too but realize not everyone does. Some poeple who love everything about Rush except for the vocals really could have gotten into and loved FM."
