Vincent Dionne is a Quebecois percussionist who, along with Michel-Georges Bregent, released two very excellent drum/electronics albums in the 1970s. This is a compilation of his two solo albums (Destinations and Parade) from 1988 and 1992. "Both of these albums have elements of electronic music, minimalism and ECM-style jazz. "Destinations" is mostly a trio work with Dionne on drums/percussion/synth, Paul McCandless of Oregon on woodwinds, and Roxanne Turcotte on keyboards. "Parade" is Vincent aided by five or six musicians on different tracks performing similar instrumentation, plus bass and tabla. There is a McCandless composition on this one and also a Michel-Georges Brégent composition."
