“Yes! A new Amarok DOUBLE CD, Canciones Para un Planeta Herido” (“Songs for a Wounded Planet”) is another example of the evolution of the Spanish Symphonic Progressive Folk Rock band Amarok through the years, developing a recognizable sound of ancient oriental instruments as the Persian santur, kanun, saz and tar, as well as a full array of synthesizers, guitars and percussion instruments.
The voice of Marta Segura shines like never before in this stirring collection of new tracks and new versions of three Amarok’s favourite pieces: “Silent Forests” (1981-82), “M'Goun” (1999) and “Moon Woman” (2001).”
