Jan Erik Vold is a Norwegian poet, writer, translator and spoken word performer, born 1939 in Oslo. Vold has recorded several poetry + albums (starting with 1969's Briskeby Blues and extending to the present day) in collaboration with Norwegian jazz musicians.
This is a strikingly rare album, reissued and issued on CD for the first time of his second album, which features the soon to be legendary 1970 Jan Garbarek group with Jan Erik reading his poetry on top.
IMPORTANT NOTE: What was originally side two is ALL instrumental!!
