For the first time in 20 years, Gilbert Artman's extraordinary and unique Urban Sax ensemble have released a new work.
Hand-numbered in a gatefold sleeve, the CD and vinyl are identical, while the DVD is different material, featuring a live concert from Beijing, as well as "UrbanSaxVirtual".
"In the late '70s, visionary composer Gilbert Artman grouped together a floating company of some 30 musicians consisting of saxophones, keyboards, percussions and voices. He began with environmental concerts in the Paris underground Metro and the sound has now evolved into a fusion of urban ambiance with his unique concept of minimalism and jazz.
