“The first question you'll likely have about this one is - how does it sound? The answer is, it's about the same quality as an audience cassette recording. We're talking lo-fi, and when you consider the second half has already been out there, you might even have heard much of it before (it was previously released by ROIR as The Blow Up). So that's the quality out of the way - drums sound a little distant, you lose the vocals at times, but the guitars are ever-present, and blistering.
If you own The Blow Up, you probably don't need this (although there's one track here, "Fallin", that I don't recall hearing before.) If you can't stand bootlegged concerts because of poor quality, avoid. If you appreciate Television for the fire in their live performances, hell yeah.”
“A rough bootleg sound suffused with all the greatness associated with this band. Two tremendous versions of Little Johnny Jewel and Marquee Moon - both lasting 15 minutes each are stunning. To see how good they are there is no Venus but unique cover versions of Dylan’s Knocking-on Heaven’s Door and the Stones’ Satisfaction (sadly faded out before it finishes). Not as good as The Blow Up but great anyway. Recommended.”
