Second excellent release by this great French sextet whose first album was released on Tzadik (and was definitely one of the most 'avant-progressive' things on that label!). This is their second and everything great about the 1st remains here (the musicianship! the compositions!), but as a 'band', they are even better. Highly recommended!

"Here’s Nebulos, the second album by acclaimed (former Tzadik) group from France. The band confirms their intriguing mix of zappaesque frenzy and humour, eccentric jazz-rock and a pinch of psychedelia. A great rhythm section sustains chromatic percussions, keyboards and winds, with sounds ranging over vintage and acoustic. Absolutely amusing and interesting.
