In addition to their many albums, RMI have also released a number of very limited edition CDRs. The musical and sound quality of these releases is excellent; as good as their regular releases, but do remember that these are CDRs in simple, flat packaging.
"The set uses `Bettr'r Day-s' from `Rain Falls In Grey Far Away' as it's starting point, and develops into almost an hour of total improvisation. This is our second set from the studio session of 2007 for WXPN's `Star's End' show. We recorded in front of a small audience in the station's studio, and the pieces were aired the following Saturday, by which time we were back in our hotel rooms after performing at the evening's `Gatherings' concert. The sounds of Synthi-AKS swoops from the $10 hotel clock radios blended with the sirens in the Philly streets to finish the evening off memorably"
