Carl Frederik Prytz was a Norwegian writer and radio personality and here he is reading some of his works. In Norwegian. Why is this here? Because all of the music is by Terje Rypdal and there are even some instrumental passages of some length!
“Carl Frederik Prytz was a Norwegian writer and translator. He made his debut in 1945 with the poetry collection Da senker jeg mine väpen. Since then he has also written novels, radio plays and essays. For a period in the 1970s, he was employed by NRK and was referred to as the man with "Norway's most beautiful male voice". The novel De vindkeive has a resonance from a long period when he was a psychiatric patient. In a review in Dag og Tid, Ingvar Moe called it the most important book of the 1970s. In 1977 he released the album Bruksdikt for deg og meg, where he reads his own poems to music by Terje Rypdal.”
