Beautiful, gatefold, vinyl edition of this wonderful release of progressive jazz/rock!
The great first solo album by the bassist of Wigwam. This album, which was recorded in 1972 while Pekka was still in Wigwam, is a masterpiece of progressive rock/fusion, mixing progressive rock stylings with elements of what later became known as the classic ECM sound of the mid 70's (Pekka's work on his first two solos has always reminded me of Eberhard Weber's work a little bit).
This albums features great compositions, a fine band (clarinet, soprano sax & flute by Pekka Poyry, clarinet by Risto Pensola, organ by Wigwam's great player Jukka Gustavson, drums by Reino Lane and Pekka's own bass and piano).
