“The Nice were already superstars in their native England due almost entirely to their explosive live performances, as can be heard here when opening for The Chambers Brothers and King Crimson at the Fillmore West, San Francisco on December 12th 1969.
Every performance by The Nice was/is a completely unique creature, a living, breathing entity that is a continual lesson to all. The Fillmore West, and music itself is about to change forever. However people remember or regard The Nice, their place in music history is solid as a rock (progressive or otherwise).

“Rough and raw prog rock from The Nice. Not the best audio quality but better than most bootlegs. Supplements the live recording from the Fillmore East. This recording should be welcomed by all Keith Emerson and The Nice fans. Every gig they played involved a lot of improvisation so every concert is different that every other one and this is no exception. Though not of audiophile quality it is more than acceptable audio and is really exciting to listen to. Sounds like an amazing gig too!”
