Colin Newman was a founding member of Wire and this was his second solo album, originally released in 1981.
Provisionally Entitled The Singing Fish is a completely solo album, with all instruments played by Newman. Basically all instrumental, it reminds me a lot of Eno circa "Another Green World"; not that it sounds just like it, but there are a lot of cool little experimental things and sounds going on amongst all the good melodies. One of my absolute favorites of the very early 1980's and one that I play frequently to this day. Highly recommended.
This has been new expanded to include B-sides, demos and supporting material, all on a second disc!
