Second, excellent and best-yet release by a three acoustic guitar ensemble who are reminsicent in many ways of the California Guitar Trio, but they've got their own sound. On some tracks they are joined by an electric bass, which fattens up the sound as well. I've seen these guys a couple of times as they are 'locals' for me, and they fine players and the shows were a lot of fun.
"WAlthough the writing style and "attitude" behind the CD is similar to their first release, the songs are often longer and more fully developed. Also, the band used a live mic in mixing, creating a fuller acoustic sound than their previous release. Other similar acts include 80's era King Crimson, Steve Morse, and Michael Hedges. The lineup consists of Andy Tillotson, Tim McCaskey, and Aaron Geller on guitar, with Luis Nasser on bass."
