First time ever on CD for the second album by Maneige. This includes short but informative notes. This album, along with their self-titled first, are some of the greatest material to come out of the Quebecois progressive rock movement.
"People have been bugging us for these for four years. Finally available on CD, remastered from the original tapes with the blessing of EMI Music Canada, this was the second Maneige album released in 1975. Featuring one of the great compositions of Quebec progressive rock, "Les Porches de Notre-Dame". The studio version is a bit different from the live one we released last year, even including a brief vocal interlude from Raoul Duguay of l'Infonie, who also guests on trumpet. There is also a string quartet employed on "La Grosse Torche". There is not much else to say, as this is a stone classic of the Quebec scene up there with Harmonium, Pollen, Contraction, and Sloche, and it demands to be heard."
