In the beginning there was Uriel, which consisted of Steve Hillage (guitar and vocals), Dave Stewart (keyboards), Mont Campbell (bass) and Clive Brooks (drums). Steve left to go to school and the other three carried on as Egg. Then, while at university, Steve formed Khan, which was somewhat similar to the work of Egg, but with a more guitar-oriente sound and Steve's vocals, When the time came to record his album, Steve's regular keyboardist was unavailable, and Dave Stewart filled in!
Originally released in 1972, this is a really nice progressive/Canterbury album, which has been difficult-to-impossible to locate on CD until now! This newly remastered edition, researched by Mark Powell, includes two previously unreleased bonus tracks as well as a booklet by the great Phil Smee!
