Excellent snapshot of Tull on their Benefit tour in the USA, touring for the first time as a five pieces. Very excellent 1970 radio broadcast sound.

“Important historical document Jethro Tull, live from Aragon Ballroom, Chicago, IL, August 16th 1970. Jethro Tull were flying in the summer of 1970, having recently added John Evan on keyboards and released their classic Benefit album. They ended their US tour with this triumphant Sunday evening date at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago (supported by Cactus, Frantic and Ned), broadcast on WLIR-FM. The set is presented in superb fidelity here, together with backgrounds notes and images.”

This has a more raw guitar sound than later shows! A great set list , and a band sound that has a lot of wild energy. If you love the early albums, you need this one!
