"After the release of Quark Strangeness & Charm, Hawkwind fractured. There was a legal battle over the name so Dave Brock, Robert Calvert, and Simon King put together a new version of the band adding Harvey Bainbridge and Steve Swindells. Violinist Simon House is onboard as well. This is some of the band's most lethal material. Its not really all that spacey but it hits like a sledgehammer. "Psi Power", "Freefall" are amazing showcases for Bob Calvert... A great album finally available again."-Ken Golden
