Bill Gilonis is best known as the guitarist for the great post-Henry Cow band The Work, where he played guitar. He's lived in Switzerland for many years now, and this is the 2nd of his releases under the "Hat Shoes" name. It's a fairly left field but charming release of piano/computer/keyboards, percussion, "motors and trickery" with vocals by Catherine Janiaux. Lots of short pieces, none of which wear out their welcome. I'm not sure at what point Bill went from guitar to this, but it works.
