After Claudio Simonetti's Daemonia, then Goblin reunited, then Goblin reunited split into Claudio Simonetti's Goblin and now original rhythm section Fabio Pignatelli and Agostino Marangolo have joined forces with guitarist Giacomo Anselmi and dual keyboardists Aidan Zammit and Danilo Cherni as Goblin Rebirth.
Consisting of all new music, this is, for my money, much more interesting than hearing a band with a 'crunchy' guitarist cover old Goblin songs (calling Daemonia, calling Daemonia). At its best, this sounds strongly like a cross between Goblin and Zombi with something new as well. A winner.
