Percussionist Toni Esposito is pretty much forgotten now, but in the mid 70's he released four very good to excellent albums of Italian jazz/rock. He eventually ended up as a semi-member of Perigeo, performing excellently on at least one of their albums.
This, from 1974, was his first album and I think that it's his best.
Along with Toni's 'bag of percussive tricks', there are excellent performances by Paul Buckmaster (ARP Odyssey, grand piano, Fender Rhodes), Gigi De Rienzo (eletric & acoustic guitars, bass), Mark Harris (Fender Rhodes), Robert Fix (soprano sax) and Bruno Limone (bass). Really nice fusion with a nice 'groove'; recommended to fans of early Weather Report, Perigeo, etc.
