Benny Carter and Gerald Wilson mainly the Oofdah Song by Benny and Crusing With Cab by Gerald gives you the actual conception from Big Band Swing into Be Bop. It is like a breath of fresh air. For us who were not there, to hear this change.
The fidelitiy is also outstanding. These Victory Discs are incredibly recorded when you consider they were done live. You can not go wrong buying this album.”
