This is a tribute to the prolific Israeli composer Sasha Argov and it features both the usual Tzadik suspects, as well as some surprises. The contributors include Danny Zamir, Cyro Baptista, Charming Hostess, Pharoah's Daughter, Tin Hat Trio, Roberto Rodriguez, Erik Friedlander, Ori Kaplan, Yuka Honda, Kramer, Jamie & Vanessa Saft, Uri Caine & Ben Perowsky, Psamim and Mark Feldman & Sylvie Courvoisier. Sasha Argov was born in Russia and is one of the founding fathers of Israeli music, from a young nation made up of many immigrants from far and wide and whose music is also made from an international tapestry of influences.
