Alphataurus were one of the (many) great 'one and done' Italian symphonic rock band and one of the most fondly remembered; once you have seen it, who could forget the amazing triple-gatefold 'Dove of War' lp jacket and the equally amazing music contained inside? Now, nearly 40 years after their 1973 album, three of the original members (the keyboardist, guitarist and drummer) have joined forces with a new vocalist, bassist and 2nd keyboardist to bring forth a new album which is a very strong effort of progressive rock Italian style. It comes in a lovely mini-lp sleeve painted by the same artist who did their first one! If you're a fan, this is a total winner.
