TOAPP was the third and final release by the 80s King Crimson, which featured the powerful lineup of Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Tony Levin and Bill Bruford, all of it sympathetically remixed and expanded by Steven Wilson. This isn't one of the most essential albums in the cannon, imo, but it's a good album and this is the best version you can get of it.

"Three Of A Perfect Pair is the 12th release in the acclaimed King Crimson 40th anniversary series. The classic album has been mixed for 5.1...

It features an enhanced Magenta line-up, including percussionist, flautist and oboist, as well as a guest appearing by Andy Foster (Kite Parade) on vocals and saxophone.

The third and best-known release by this English group who spent their most popular years in Germany, and are usually thought of as a German band. This was a hugely popular release in the mid 70's, selling hundreds of thousands of copies! Really!
Kinda jammy, definitely somewhat Pink Floydy, Nektar were a quartet of vocals, guitars, keyboards, bass and drums. This includes a bunch of extras.

“First released in November 1973, the album was a conceptual piece comprising a musical cycle...

Two musicians from the glory days of Tangerine Dream meet up and capture some of the old magic, but not in a retro way.

“Neuland started the way many long overdue projects do: with Paul Haslinger and Peter Baumann asking themselves, "Why isn't there anything out there like this?" In their case, that meant a deeply immersive debut album that's respectful of their roots in Tangerine Dream but exists on it's own astral plane.
Far more restless than most ambient records, the pair's self-titled...

Anthony was a founding member of Genesis and was a very important part of their formative years; when he left due to stage fright, the rest of the band was very unsure he was replaceable. After a number of years, he came back with this, his first solo...

“Originally issued as a double CD set in 2012, Seventh Heaven was a primarily orchestral work featuring the City of Prague Orchestra and was recorded in various locations in London and Prague. A gorgeous and evocative collection of compositions, the album was hailed by Classic FM radio and is one of Anthony's enduring works. This new edition of Seventh Heaven features the original album newly remastered, along with a bonus CD featuring ten previously unreleased recordings, among which is a rare 1973...

“Limited four CD + 2 DVD set. Following the release of the album Drastic Plastic and tour, Bill Nelson disbanded Be Bop Deluxe.

Aware of the emergence of the New Wave artists and out of a desire to continually evolve, he announced the formation of Red Noise. Working with co-producer John Leckie, Bill recorded a new wave masterpiece, a record that would influence a new generation of musicians with it's intelligent and punchy material.
Sound On Sound and the subsequent live shows would divide.

"I've been working hard finishing the new Sanctuary IV album, but needed a break to clean the musical pallatte, so I really wanted to do something different. At the age of 8 I had two albums for Christmas, "The Sound OF Music" and "Tubular Bells". The latter defined my musical path. That Christmas my brother had Jean Michel Jarre "Oxygen" as his present.
Over the years, and especially of late, I've realised how much of an influence that electronic music has been to me over the years. From Jarre...

“CD1 contains the new album while CD2 includes bonus tracks and Tom Newman's alternative mix of the whole album The DVD has the complete album mixed in 5.1 surround plus promo videos.”

Will you be surprised to learn that this is very, very influenced by and reminiscent of Mike Oldfield? Only if you’ve been sleeping in a cave.

The band's fifth album from 1974, and definitely one of their greats, including tracks like "Running Hard", "I Think of You", "Mother Russia" and more. Their sound is firmly in place, the songwriting team of Michael Dunsford and Betty Thatcher are cranking out classics, everyone plays strongly and Annie sings beautifully. The slight folk influences from before are pretty much gone, but the strong classical and progressive rock sounds remain.

“This is a release of a newly re-mastered and expanded..

“2023 was the year of the Artrockers from RPWL: 'Crime Scene', the eleventh studio album and the nineteenth overall, entered various charts after it's release: it even reached a remarkable 18th place in the German album charts! This was followed by a fantastic long European tour through eight countries with many sold-out venues. On the last studio longplayer 'Crime Scene', the Bavarian Artrock institution focused their attention on the morbid...

New, remixed and remastered edition of the first solo album released by the bassist of Yes when the band took a break after the Relayer tour.
It's one of the best two (and maybe the best) of the solo albums released by the members of the band, imo.
"Digitally remastered and remixed edition of Yes founder Chris Squire's legendary 1975 solo album Fish Out Of Water.
Recorded in the late Spring and Summer of 1975 whilst Yes was on hiatus as members recorded their respective solo albums...

“Having already released four albums and become a popular attraction on the UK live music scene, this was All Stewart’s breakthrough album which he would tour extensively in the USA and the UK. ‘Past, Present And Future’ saw Stewart focus lyrically on various historical themes, including ‘Old Admirals’, ‘Warren Harding’, ‘The Last Day of June 1934’, ‘Roads to Moscow’ and ‘Nostradamus’ and was Al Stewart’s first US hit album. It firmly established his reputation as one of the most imaginative and...

“Bridge of Sighs, Robin Trower's sophomore album following his departure from Procol Harum. Lauded critically, commercially a breakthrough, the album saw Robin push his trio's initial concept into exciting new territory.
Accompanied by James Dewar on soulful vocal and bass duty and Reg Isidore underpinning their psychedelic blues sound with masterful drumming. Producer and former Procol Harum bandmate Matthew Fisher and Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick take on control room duties to help bring this...

The Who's quite amazing 1971 studio album was (and is) played too much on classic rock radio, but that doesn't make it any less of a tremendous feat. It's also their most progressive rock oriented disc, what with Pete's use of keyboards and Terry Riley influences. “Super Deluxe Edition contains 10-CDs all remastered from original tapes by long time Who engineer Jon Astley as well as a Blu-ray Audio disc with newly made Atmos & 5.1 surround mixes of the original album and 14 additional tracks by Steven...

Richard Wright’s first solo album, from 1978, which was sort of overlooked upon its original release and is really a quite nice album, if lower key than things like ‘The Wall’ would make you think...!
Remixed and then released on Wright’s 80th birthday by the kind of remixing progressive classics, Steven Wilson, who called it ‘A lost Pink Floyd record’

• Dolby Atmos Mix
• 5.1 Surround Mix 24/96
• Original 1978 Stereo Mix

This and English Settlement are the highest points for me, in a career filled with highlights. And now given the deluxe (and always revelatory Steven Wilson remix / hi-res & 5.1 mix!
One of the smartest, best and most distinctive pop bands of their time. Highly recommended. Their fourth album.

1 * Disc 1 - Original 1974 Album...

Official album #17 and one of his most popular albums. I saw FZ for the first time in 1973 before this album was released, but featuring this amazing band. Still one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen, and I have seen plenty.

Ruth Underwood: marimba, vibes & percussion

On December 10, 1971, Frank was attacked while performing and pushed off the stage and fell all the way into the concrete orchestra pit of the theatre. He was very badly injured and was confined to a wheelchair for much of 1972 while he recuperated. But although he was immobilized, he did what he always did; he wrote copiously!

“During this time, he managed, among other things, to assemble an ensemble that quenched his thirst and desire to work with a large “Electric Orchestra.” Ultimately, a 20...
