  1. The shopping cart or store is not functioning correctly.

You need to turn on your cookies and javascript for the store to function properly. Otherwise, it can not recognize you and things that you add to your shopping cart will not remain there!

  2. How are you able to offer some of these items so inexpensively?

Part of our inventory is 'cut-outs', also known as 'overstocks', also known as 'deletions. We buy items that have been sold at very, very low prices by either the label or the distributor, either because the title has been deleted or because they have too many in their stock and are willing to sell some at a very low price to free up room in their offices or to raise some money quickly or because the label or distributor has gone out of business.

This means that some of the CDs we sell that are priced at $9.00 or less may be physically marked in one or more of the following ways: with a hole though the traycard, the booklet, the jewel case or the bar code.

All items are new and unplayed and guaranteed against defects.

  5. How do I track my order?

Go to the "Your Account" link at the bottom of the main page and you can see when we begin to process your order as well as when the order ships.

  6. How much is shipping?

In the USA, shipping is $4.50 for the first item, $.75 each additional item.

Outside of the USA is tricky and odd, due to nonsensical US international mail rates. The best way to know what you will pay is to add the items you want to your cart and use the GET RATES button in the cart.

Please note that 2 items costs the same to ship outside the USA as 8 items!

  7. Will I have to pay sales tax on my purchase?

Sales tax of 6% will only apply to residents of the state in which we are registered (Maryland - MD) in the USA, but not to any other state or the rest of the world.

  8. Will I have to pay customs or duty on my order?
How much will it cost me?

We are not able to predict the amount of duty or taxes that countries outside of the USA may charge to customers who reside outside of the USA. This is something that is determined by the governments of other countries and is something that we have no say over. Wayide Music can not and will not be held responsible for any duties incurred; anyone who orders from outside the USA needs to be aware that their customs house or post office may require payment of some kind in taxes or duty before the customer will receive their goods.

  9. What if I need to return my order?

All items are guaranteed against defects. If you receive a defective item, please contact us and we will give you authorization to return it to us and we will either replace it or credit your charge card if we can not replace it because we have sold out.

If we make a mistake and send you the wrong disc, we will, of course, accept it back and credit your card for the cost of the CD and the cost of shipping it back to us, but you must get authorization first.

PLEASE NOTE: We can not accept back items because you did not like the music you bought. Please research any potential purchases before buying.

  10. What if you don't have all of the items in stock?

We generally have 99.5% of all listed items in the store in stock! But when an item is new or if there is a unexpected rush on a particular item, we do sometimes run out.

We do not back order. We will charge your credit card for only what we have available to ship to you. If you still want an item, you will have to re-order it later.

  11. Why do I have to pay for registration for my order?

Unfortunately, we have had problems with safe delivery of orders to a number of countries.

Because we guarantee that your order will arrive safely, we have had to require registration on orders to certain countries for our protection and for our customer's protection as well.

There is an significant extra charge from the post office for registering packages and there are extra labor costs, hence the higher prices for registered packages.

Registration is only available for packages that weight 4 lbs or less, so you are limited to 15 CDs (or less, depending on the weight of what you are ordering) per package.

  12. What does PAL and NTSC mean regarding DVDs?

There are two DVD formats in the world. NTSC and PAL.
NTSC is compatable with players in the USA, Canada and Japan.
PAL is compatable with players in the U.K. and most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and much of South America.

Throughout the rest of the world, formats can vary which is why the format is clearly mentioned for every DVD we sell.

If you are not sure of what format you need, how do you tell what format is right for you? The best way is to look at any DVD you already own that plays correctly. Usually somewhere on the back of the package, it will say either NTSC or PAL.

One last thing to mention: Many PAL players will play NTSC DVDs and some NTSC players will play PAL DVDs and ALL computer DVD drives will play BOTH NTSC and PAL formats!

  13. What does Region Coding mean regarding DVDs?

The DVD world has been divided into six major geographical regions, numbered 1 through 6.

This means that DVD players and DVDs are labeled for operation on within a specific geographical region in the world. For example, the U.S. is in region 1. This means that many DVD players sold in the U.S. can only play region 1 discs.

The geographical regions are as follows:

    REGION 1 : USA, Canada
REGION 2 : Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East
REGION 3 : South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Parts of South East Asia
REGION 4 : Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Central and South America
REGION 5 : Eastern Europe, Russia, India, Africa
    REGION 6 : China

DVDs marked as ALL REGION or REGION 0 can be played in any region, but NTSC discs must be played in a NTSC compatible player and PAL discs must be played in an PAL compatible player.

Many multi-region players are available for sale on the internet and elsewhere, but if you are not certain if you are able to play multiple region discs on your player, you should only buy DVDs that are marked All Region or with the Region where you live.

This information is clearly displayed for all of the DVDs that we sell; we can NOT take back returns of items that you are unable to play because you didn't do your homework about what types of DVDs you can or can not play. If you are not certain if you can play a DVD that is not in a format or a Region Code for where you live, do not buy it.
