The latest release by In Cahoots - one of the last electric jazz/jazz-rock bands standing with any ties to the 'Canterbury scene' - features a more floating personnel: The basic band is now Phil Miller-guitar, Fred Baker-bass, Mark Fletcher-drums, Peter Lemer-keyboards, Simon Finch-trumpet, Simon Picard-sax, with guest spots from Doug Boyle-guitar, Richard Sinclair-bass, Didier Malhere-soprano sax, flute, doudouk & ocarina, Dave Stewart-tuned percussion and Barbara Gaskin-voice. Typically wonderful stuff from Phil and company. Highly recommended and completely satisfying...as long as you approach this expecting In Cahoots and not Hatfield and the North.
