The great man's first solo album, recorded in 1971, while VDGG were just beginning the tackling of Pawn Hearts is...a relatively simple album of songs with backing from all of Van Der Graaf Generator, plus Robert Fripp and a few others here an there. For this remastered/repackaged reissue, compiler Mark Powell found five studio rehearsal demos of the full Van der Graaf Generator doing The Birds, Sunshine, Happy, Re-Awakening and Summer Song!! Lots of unseen photos and a package design by Phil Smee.
