The great Czech guitarist Radim Hladik started his musical life in the early Czech beat group The Matadors and then he formed Modry Efekt (Blue Effect in English) who released 8 albums between 1969 and the late 70s.
Disc number one was recorded on March 3, 2007 with Radim accompanied by young musicians, all of whom are there to capture the mood, as they perform a good selection of his work from the Blue Effect and Matador's back pages.
Disc number two compiles a ton of perfect quality television appearances mostly from the 70s, but going all the way back to the Matadors in 1966! This has a lot of their proggiest material. You can see how great the quality is on this clip!
